Hoi An: Launching incentive tours for visitors

According to the city People’s Committee on January 31st, the ancient town of Hoi An will launch a wide range of outdoor activities in order to promote the city’s tourism on the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, the 40th anniversary of National Reunification, May Day, the 55th anniversary of Vietnam’s tourism sector, the 6th anniversary of Cu Lao Cham being acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve site and on other occasions.

Many cultural and tourism activities will include exploring old quarter’s night, experiencing night at Cu Lao Cham and joining the cuisine street festival.

According to the Vice Chairman of Hoi An People’s Committee Truong Van Bay, accommodation units and hotels will be required to offer incentives to attract more and more domestic and foreign visitors. Other businesses are also asked to actively take part in tourism promotion programs while the city authorities pledged to create the best possible conditions for businesses so that they can provide new and high quality products and services.
